Fundraising and Sponsorship Policy

The Viviscent Wellness Foundation (“VWF”) is committed to ethical, transparent, and responsible fundraising practices. This Fundraising and Sponsorship Policy establishes the standards and procedures governing donor engagement, sponsorship relationships, and the stewardship of contributions.

This Policy ensures that VWF:

• Prohibition of coercive, deceptive, or misleading practices

3. Donor Rights and Confidentiality

VWF is committed to protecting donor privacy and ensuring respectful engagement. Donors have the right to:

• Receive accurate information about VWF’s mission and use of funds
• Have their personal information kept confidential
• Request anonymity
• Receive appropriate acknowledgment and tax documentation
• Ask questions and receive prompt, truthful answers

4. Sponsorship Guidelines

Sponsorships must align with VWF’s mission, values, and ethical standards. VWF may decline sponsorships from entities whose activities conflict with organizational principles.

Sponsorship agreements must:

• Be documented in writing
• Clearly define benefits, expectations, and deliverables
• Comply with IRS and nonprofit regulatory requirements
• Protect VWF’s independence and decision‑making authority

5. Use of Funds

All funds raised must be used in accordance with donor intent and organizational priorities. Restricted funds must be tracked and reported separately.

6. Transparency and Reporting

VWF will maintain accurate financial records and provide transparent reporting to donors, sponsors, and regulatory bodies. Annual reports, financial statements, and program updates will be made available as required.

7. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Misrepresentation of fundraising goals or program outcomes
• Unauthorized use of donor or sponsor information
• Accepting contributions that compromise VWF’s integrity or mission
• Engaging in political fundraising or partisan activities

8. Conflict of Interest

Staff, volunteers, and board members must avoid conflicts of interest in fundraising and sponsorship activities. Any potential conflicts must be disclosed promptly.

9. Compliance and Oversight

The Board of Directors and executive leadership are responsible for ensuring compliance with this Policy and all applicable fundraising regulations.

10. Policy Review

This Policy will be reviewed periodically and updated as necessary to reflect evolving legal requirements, ethical standards, and organizational needs.
